Photographer artist, I have made a 30-year journey of creation founded on the notion of an archive based on a documentary photographic practice. The goal was always to do a work for History, thus our production has as of today integrated, among others, institutional, museums and archivists collections as well as librarian and academical.

With a rigorous training in the documentary spirit of the franco-german tradition, my photographic practice is the result of a doctoral research at the University of Paris, developing the work from the architectural space and urban scenery to deliver my experiences of the city where I live. I documented both the patrimony and monumental architecture as well as the environmental and construction sites. The activity as university researcher led me to the creation of the Cultural Territory Observatory to determine the influence of the cultural structures on the territorial development; the university structures in first place, with the transforming impulse of its surroundings.

This opened new doors in the photographic practice, with invitations from various institutions, for « carte blanche » missions on the cultural territory. To mention, among others, the university libraries from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Saint-Denis, the CIUP campus (International university City of Paris) the Tanghu Museum from Wuhan and the Stadium of France for the Regional Council of Seine-Saint-Denis. I also carried out missions on Paris to create the Cult Territory Observatory.

This documentary approach of the local was the way to make a photographic work and bequeath to the institutions the city's archivist memory. A legacy to the next generations founded on the real, testimony of an era in full mutation, under the influence of the new technologies, the virtual and the Artificial Intelligence.
